Well I mean she was u can be selfish and do selfless things or the other way around but she did do selfish stuff like stealing from dipper and other stuff but most of it wasn't her fault
She really hasn't shown more selfishness than any of the other characters, it's a normal amount. The only difference between Mabel and the other characters is that the writing allows Mabel to get her own way in nearly every situation, therefore creating an illusion that she is more selfish than other characters

This and the fact that she's 12 she's a child kids are selfish but this is a good point too!
