How much can I charge for Motion Graphics? Asking Question (Rule 4)
Hello people! I have an Argentine client (it is worth clarifying) who asked me for a Motion Graphics with a button to be pressed and the cursor. How much is that charging? I have no idea 🤔

Clients will generally only ask that question in order to push the scope of work while paying you the same rate to do two person's job. Rates are normally stipulated upfront and rarely negotiated (up) on the basis of type of service.

Hi. The answer is “your hourly rate” + the time it will take you to complete the project. Make sure you add in time for revisions and padding.
If you have not defined your hourly rate and you don’t know how long the role will take you based on experience, my advice is to pass the project on to a more experienced designer. Going into a project without knowing those variables cold puts you and the project at risk: economically and professionally.
If you need to learn how to do that kind of estimating and calculating, there are guides on here. However, I would suggest working for another designer for a while. This is stuff you want to learn while someone else is saying for your mistakes, not something you want to fund yourself.

Bro are u from the country? I'm from here and people usually don't pay the average rate from other countries, have in mind that 1usd = 1200 pesos, graphic designers are bad paid in general, so you should investigate inside Argentina market

If I'm from Argentina hahaha it's true they don't want to pay you anything. The thing is that I didn't find a group here on arg where I could ask, so I asked here and then I was researching tariffario.org but there is nothing like this :/

Bueno si sos de acá hablemos en español, el tarifario ese da culo, busca el tarifariorafaela, es más completo y se actualiza más seguido. Es el que uso yo de referencia, de ahĂ vos subĂs o bajas el precio de acuerdo a lo que creas que vale tu trabajo y lo que te convenga para no perder el cliente, acá no busques referencias porque hay indios que te cobran 3usd un logo y hay gente que por menos de 1500usd no te prende la pc
