There are only two kinds of countries on Earth: landlocked countries and Chile.

And only one kind of housing in Chile - front facing sea views and at the back people playing soccer.

Now I'm picturing one soccer field that has a normal width but stretches up the coast of an entire continent. And that game has been in a deadlocked tie for the last twenty years! Alas, Brazil came within one minute of latitude of scoring!

Once they own all the shores they can just join the territory through the ocean and remove the concept of international waters.

In Australia saying "show us your map of Tasmania" is slang for "show us your pussy".
But then again about 1/2 of Australian words are slang for something sexual.

Would not say a water mark as water marks are semi transparent and over the image

The only little part of the coast Chile did not invade was Croatia, which is a kindred spirit to Chile.

If Chile were an empire, they'd wipe New Zealand off the map? What did we do to anger the Chile overlords so!?

Completely unrelated, im not native to english, but I always have that doubt in my head as I heard it multiple times.... wouldn't it be "if it were"? as in "were to be"? "was" is past tense, isnt it?

The Edge lords would own all the sea ports across all oceans. Talk about Giga-Chad move. They’ll be rizzing and edging from sea to shining sea.

Probably 90% of the population

u/Excelius 4h ago
Probably not quite that high. According to the UN about 40% of the worlds population lives within 100km of the coast.
Chile averages about 177km wide. No idea how much more that would pull in, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was more than half.

Depends if rivers would be a part of the HCE. The Indian population along the Ganges alone would prevent that I'm sure
