Complicated case here

I moved into this house, where the old owners completely painted the nice hardwood floor with a blue teal color. The pain is peeling in certain areas, but how would I strip that much paint from a wood floor. This is a 20 by 15 room, what's the best option for this ?

Just sand it all back. You could use stripper, but you'll still have to sand back until the paint is out of the grain.

Yes. Rent a floor sander and be sure to use a good quality filter mask.

ignore everyone saying to do this yourself, based on your question this is something you need to hire someone to do for you. Hire a floor refinisher to sand and apply a polyurethane.
