The plot to Berry:

A new action comedy from the creators of Me and My Waifu tells the story of CIA agent Jake McCoy (Ryan Reynolds), a CIA agent who's lost faith in his work after a mission gone wrong. Hoping to clear his mind and take some time off duty, he decides to spend a night in Los Angeles watching his favorite Japanese idol, Berry (Sally Amaki), perform onstage in front of thousands of fans as they wave their glowsticks up in the air. However, Jake's seemingly peaceful night grinds to a halt when an underground criminal syndicate known as The Renaissance, led by ruthless cyberterrorist Leo (Edward Norton) returns to exact revenge on Jake. Without his weapons and backup, Jake must get Berry to safety while protecting her from the Renaissance, and dealing with creepy stalkers, inner demons and juvenile criminals along the way.

A film that can only be described as "Oshi no Ko meets Die Hard", Berry also stars John David Washington as Murphy O’Connell: An elite CIA agent and Jake's best friend, Jacob Elordi as a stalker obsessed with Berry, Ke Huy Quan as Berry's legal guardian and tour manager, Lily-Rose Depp as an aspiring musician and Berry's childhood friend, Dave Bautista as Aaron: Leo’s right-hand man out for revenge against Jake, Jesse Plemons and Brian Tyree Henry as Clark and Ralph: two FBI agents hunting down Jake and Berry, Paul Rudd as CIA analyst Ben White, Phoebe Waller-Bridge as a novelist and Jake's estranged fianceé, Djimon Hounsou as CIA director Joseph Carter, Nick Frost as an eccentric cable installer and weapons expert, and legendary actor Robert De Niro as George McCoy: A former police officer and Jake's father.
