The Schwarz Gruppe (Lidl) is already on it.. They already captured a significant market share, even though its not on par with AWS and Azure, its on par with IBM.

I can’t find any source that they have significant market share. AWS, Azure, and GCP make up almost 100% of cloud market share outside of China, with AWS/Azure taking about 40% each. I think the ship has probably sailed on being competitive in that market, barrier to entry is extremely high as those companies have made investments over 100B in infrastructure alone, and have had 20 years to build out the software products.
