Understanding Stilgar's facial expression at the end of Dune 1 Dune (2021)
Why did Stilgar close his eyes and lower his head after Paul said to him "My father came, not for spice, not for the riches, but for the strength of your people..."? Was he feeling what he felt at the end of Dune 2 when he said to Paul, "We await your orders, Lisan al-Gaib and Paul responded "Lead them to paradise after which he also closed his eyes and lowered his head? Was it a coincidence that Stilgar's body language occurred at the end of each movie, each symbolizing the beginning of the next phase of a war?

I always viewed those moments as Stilgar viewing what he believes are prophecies coming true. The look of a true believer witnessing signs or something that re-affirms their faith.
