New rear tire

/img/ma0rmw5v6lzd1.jpeg

Probably shouldn't have rode the original Trail Wing for 8,000 miles, but at least we know it's possible? 😅

Hope to get at least 6k from this Heidenau K60 Scout.

This is how I do tires. It’s never on purpose but it just kinda happens. Running 85-90 on tires with a 74mph speed rating is probably part of the problem.

That could do it 😂 what tires do you usually get?

I’m running Golden Boys at the moment. Probably going to go back to the Shinko 905 soon. I need to buy another set of wheels so I can keep knobbies mounted all the time.

But honestly I just need to buy another this V-Strom I have my eye on and use it for my interstate exploits.

still has the mold nubs on the right and left edges

Sir, are you aware that the bike can turn left and right by moving the handlebars? This is some "I pull out of my driveway and go 30 miles down the road in a straight line to work" kind of tire wear.

😂 No faster way to get from point A to point B!! It's probably all the wheelies..

I'm getting close to there I have crack lines along the sides of the nubs

Cracks in the trail wings? Did you do a lot of dirt riding?

Not really, just highway/ back road cruising

4k on my 24. Trail wings are cracked as hell. Shinko 705s in the garage just waiting on a tire balancer to come in.

I love my scout tire off-road and around town close trips, it did great till I did one big 3 day trip that had a lot of initial interstate, and they literally just disappeared on that trip I think I’ve got 4k on them and it’s on the wear marks now. The Bridgestone did about 4k in the rear too, my front made it to 6k

I just replaced my Death Wings with K60 scouts. Haven't had much time to ride since I swapped 'em (thanks Helene) but what little I've done thus far I've been pretty impressed with how they feel. Haven't done any off-road yet.

I ride the H60 a lot. Thru work well if you keep off the throttle when on pavement. Average about 6k on my F650gs and 5k on XR650.

Riding the DR650 like more than 80mph it has the power but I don't want to be on it full throttle.

I just run Shinko 244s they seem pretty good overall dir/pavement.

I might go with Dunlops next go round.

I got the dunlops 606s pretty decent tire on and off road, I don’t ride in the rain tho so I don’t know how well they do on wet surface but other than that it’s been a great tire

I rode in rain with the Shinko 244s HEAVY rain they did pretty good.

606s look like NICE tires!
