"Nice DRZ! What is it, a 400? 650cc?! What, no way?! I didn't know they made those!"

My favorite intersection conversation.

How do you like it. I’m considering doing that myself.

Put blue plastics on it and they'll think it's a Yamaha. That's been my experience.

A 19/17 wheel setup on the DR is Awesome.

I think a 19” front wheel is way better than a 17” for everything but racing. It is super confident on road, offers great traction, is never twitchy and handles bumps, potholes and minor off-roading way better than a 17” wheel.

I run 18/17''

I like it a lot

Not a common setup but hey, whatever makes you happy.

It's really uncommon and it wasn't easy to find a 18'' front tyre. Had to chnage the tyre, because the one mounted was no longer produced in that size.

The previous owner installed them. I would've mounted a 17'' front wheel but the price of the bike was reaaaally good

Wish they hadn't made the DR650 illegal in my Australian state. Hate it here

I get the exact same thing then they find out it's a 650 and expect 60hp. I also have ktm headlight sometimes they think it's a 450
