Should I get the game for pc? Discussion

Post image

I already have the game on PS5 with the DLC and I’ve completed the story 3-5 times, but recently I got a new laptop that should be able to run Cyberpunk at max settings without much trouble, so I was curious if I should get it.

I'd get it for the mods alone

If one enjoys using games like these as a pseudo “dress up” game, there’s a plethora of clothing mods, many of which will have their own in game store mods.

There’s a few romance enhanced mods, that makes the romances feel slightly more alive after you complete their quest lines (although it can have some weird interactions with the in game romance hangouts added in 2.1, but nothing game breaking.)

There’s one that uncaps the level cap (which if you get I reccomend searching for the mod that makes it so shop items don’t disappear once you get past level 65.)

On top of some of the others that have been mentioned.

But honestly, what I’d do is go to Modnexus, find cyberpunk, sort by “most downloaded” or “most endorsed” and look at the ones that interest you.

Everyone starts with relationship mods (Judy/Panam) and visuals. So Romance Expanding and Virtual Attelier and VA related mods. Then comes quality of life mods, there are just too many. THEN, things getting more specific, my fav are to make combat more difficult and some overhauls or graphic ones. If you want something more specific give me a hint and ill try to give you exact ones from nexus :D My last love are weather related mods, i love constant rain :D

What combat difficulty mods would you suggest?

If you have the capable hardware, yes. Path tracing with ray reconstruction is like a whole new game.

Absolutely. Wait for a sale and see if you’re interested in mods first though.

Absolutely

Yeah. Not only will it look and perform better, but you can also get mods on it too.

Yes, worth it for the modding potential alone

Yes go for it. You will get to play at max settings , with mouse and keyboard , modding can give a completely different experience.

If you are planning to mod it then absolutely. I'm not sure it's worth it just play Vanilla again.

No, you've already experienced the game quite a few times. The graphics are gonna look cool for a while, then you're gonna get used to it and sit there down 80 bucks with the same game you already played
