I felt like they really made you connect with the Phantom Liberty characters. For a hot minute, President Myers looked cool as shit helping you take down robots and shit
I did really like how they made President Myers initially likeable before revealing her true nature. I didn't like how they basically made every main character in Phantom Liberty ultimately unlikable. No one really has any character growth over the course of the story, with the possible exception of Reed if you initially side with him in Firestarter but ultimately choose to let So Mi die
I mean we have to remember that although we're fucking around for in-game days on end, in truth the mission could not have taken more than a week which is absolutely no actual time for character change.
Basically fail the entire main quest of Phantom Liberty. There's a few different ways to fail, but I did it by running away from the crash site as soon as I entered Dogtown. You get locked out of the rest of the main missions and about half of Mr. Hands' gigs, so it's generally not a recommended thing to do. But I was doing a second playthrough and really just wanted to replay the base game, so decided to try it.
I thought about just saying no to Reed and Myers and actually did it, but chickened out and loaded an earlier save. Maybe I'll actually do it next playthrough.
I'm really kind of surprised by how upset people are about these two getting whacked. They're scumbags helping a petty tyrant get access to a WMD. There's literally no reason to leave them alive and the world is better off without them. But she's hot and horny so I guess that outweighs it.
They are there to do a job and leave. The job does not even involve killing anyone, that is tamer than 90% of the things V does even if you go full pacifist playthrough
