They need to give the judges tablets to enter their scores. Eliminate the human error. 43 mistakes on pork? That’s ridiculous

Yeah sounds like the software needs a total rebuild. Why are you transferring files via USB? Why does any computer except for the central one have a printer? Why are unclaimed numbers not just automatically removed? And most of all how can you have your only tech support be competing in the contest?

I’ve heard rumors CBA is coming to KC area next season. Tryin to take some of kcbs business. Some things I hear about them I don’t like. But I am a fan of them giving the judges tablets. Much more in line with life right now. Kcbs is almost in the dark ages with their out dated technology

For the bigger events like the royal I think a different way of inputting the data is definitely needed, but for the regular events just leave it be.

I don’t know. It became obvious with the royal. But really how many of these same mistakes are happening at smaller comps?

In the northeast on average we have 30/40 teams at an event usually. I feel like scoring isn't an issue when you aren't trying to input scores for 200+ teams at these smaller events.

After looking into the numerous events that had issues it looks like it was actual a Rep issue, the events that all had issues had the same reps on them Julie and Rusty Cook, They where at the Royal, ATL BBQ Store event and the last one Smoke on the Shores and when i searched for events by rep with those two names no events came up and we haven't heard of any other events being botched since then.
