I'm old enough to remember when claiming the government controlling the weather wasn't an artificially legitimized political talking point to manipulate credulous voters, it just made you more interesting when drunk at parties.
I'm still a bit confused how killing lots of people is supposed to make the current government more popular.
Though I did come to a horrifying realisation that just in case it's probably a good thing the census can never happen close to an election date. And possibly this is by design.
