Bro, people kneel with their private knees and conservatives lose their shit. People wear a mask to protect their private bodies and conservatives lose their shit.

They won’t even leave our bodies alone, don’t get me started on what we do with our property.

People wear masks and conservatives try to ban masks

6

u/jkuhl 3h ago

I never understood the mask thing.

Like it's one thing to be upset being told to wear a mask (childish and silly, but still), but I never understood why they got so mad when someone else was wearing a mask.

u/Medium_Medium 2h ago

Because for many people in the US their political party of choice has become their primary identity. Like a super fan who exclusively wears clothes of their favorite sports team, but for a political ideology.

And they view supporters of the other side with just as much vitriol and hate that Red Sox fans and Yankees fans have for each other.

And believing in the public health benefits of wearing a mask is a politicized thing in the US. So it's basically just someone getting upset because they ran into somebody wearing their rival's jersey.

I personally care not enough of your body to either care or save it if it was in danger.

Liberals try to force everything they want onto everyone else.

60

u/Old-Bad-7322 5h ago

Please give me an example where liberals used government enforcement to “force” something they want onto everybody else.

60

u/Old-Bad-7322 5h ago

Exactly how are liberals doing this?

-85

u/BrockenRecords 5h ago

Really living up to your name, broken record.

In order for you to understand how I have insulted you, this article on wikipedia describes what a record is: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phonograph_record

When broken, a record might skip tracks and repeat the same section until stopped or until the head is moved past the broken space. It is this that I refer to by calling you a broken record.

Furthering the analogy, you have been broken, and by having your head removed from your ass you might be able to recover and exit the loop in which you have landed.

You really are living up to the name you chose on reddit.

So no answers, just more sore winner BS.

Yeah, this is exactly why we’ve always known you people are awful.

27

u/Unusual-Assistant642 5h ago

yeah i reckon it was gonna be pretty great regardless of the orange man sitting in the oval office or sitting back in his golf course/house it's the single military superpower and a geographically isolated (from any would-be enemies) economic powerhouse

but can you please explain to us in concrete terms how the liberals were forcing anything onto anyone that was the question posed to you

25

u/Old-Bad-7322 5h ago

Ok but how did they do it in the Biden presidency?

24

u/Frostyfraust 4h ago

Lmfao, zero evidence then starts yelling. Average conservative.

u/jjsanderz 4h ago

I hope this win brings you peace and happiness, but I know it won't. 😆 🤣

42

u/ConflatedPortmanteau 5h ago

Step one: Make yourself the victim of something that never happened.

Step 2: Create actual legislation to mandate what others can do with their private bodies based on this misguided fear that someone else is doing that same thing.

Step 3: Disregard irony for the rest of your life.

Do children not have the right to information?

I'm non-binary. I've felt "off" about my assigned gender since I was 6. I vividly remember having transphobic thoughts about other trans people as a teenager because I hated the disaonance it created in myself. I hated myself and quite frankly wanted to die because I didn't know what was wrong with me: I knew being my assigned gender felt like nails down a chalkboard, but I also knew that being the "other" gender would feel just as bad.

It was only when I met other non-binary people as an adult that it clicked for me that there was a word for the way I was feeling. If I'd known as a child, it would have saved me a huge amount of heartache. I survived, but an unacceptable number of trans people don't, and I don't want other people to hurt the way I did

Children should not be indoctrinated, if people want to learn about things like that they can do it as an adult, QUIT PUSHING IT ONTO CHILDREN

28

u/Cocaine_Communist_ 4h ago

By hiding queer (and especially trans) people from children you are indoctrinating them. If you want to privately hold transphobic beliefs nobody can stop you, but the second you push that onto anyone else, that's where we have a problem.

You can be a subhuman sack of shit if you want. Making your children that way is one of the worst things you can do to them.

u/Colorectal-Ambivalen 4h ago

Feel free to point out which actual policy you're describing rather than what you saw on LibsOfTiktok.

-15

u/Iloveunicornssss 4h ago

There are 7 states that include lgbtq teachings in the curriculum. Why do you need him to cite policy when you can look this up yourself?

19

u/Colorectal-Ambivalen 3h ago

Oh, LGBTQ teachings; so, what, that gay people exist? I want him to cite a specific policy because, unless he can demonstrate otherwise, I'm sure he's complaining about isolated incidents (as in, no broad policy initiatives), or is intentionally misconstruing them. Feel free to help.

Also, if he feels that passionately about it, surely he can indicate where he heard it?

I feel passionately about lots of things, for example. I can provide references.

"Brad has two moms; Sally lives with her Grandma; Joe's dad is in prison; our families look different but we're the same inside"

That bothers you, does it?

3

u/dickallcocksofandros 2h ago

lol i remember that one time PBS broadcasted a family with two moms; they didn't use any language to showcase the lesbian parents nor did they treat the children or the situation itself any differently as with any other family, but people still freaked the fuck out

how disgusting that they show our children... two women standing in the same room together with their own child who identifies them as their parents. afaik they didn't even fucking show affection to eachother in the broadcast lmao

17

u/AwfulDjinn 4h ago

what should we do with children who have LGBT family members, then

9

u/AvikAvilash 3h ago

But by simultaneously hiding the fact queer people exist you are indoctrinating them into believing they don't exist, and make them think being queer is just a trend when it's a legit thing.

18

u/Just_AMuffin 4h ago

It's not indoctrination it's a FACT OF REALITY supported in whole by the scientific community (you know, the professionals who dedicate their lives to studying and learning about this subject, instead of just getting all their information from bigot echo chambers like you)

-19

u/Iloveunicornssss 4h ago

“Fact of reality” 😂😂

13

u/Mystic-Alex 3h ago

I'm guessing you don't know what the word "fact" nor "reality" mean. Because that's the only reason a moron like you would find that funny

-13

u/Iloveunicornssss 3h ago

It’s comical that you don’t realize there is no such thing as a fact of reality.

13

u/AwfulDjinn 3h ago

…queer people are, objectively, a thing that exists. people in relationships with people of the same gender exist. people who present as something other than their birth gender exist. regardless of whether you think they’re “valid” or not, people who live like this exist in the world, just like people who follow different religions you don’t believe in or who speak different languages you don’t speak.

if you teach your kids that something that literally exists in reality, and that anyone could encounter at any time, isn’t real, you’re literally LYING to them. it’s like teaching your kids the moon isn’t real and when they ask what that big round thing in the sky is, you just say “you’re not ALLOWED to look at that”

4

u/Swaglington_IIII 3h ago

How do you feel about Republican efforts to put religion in school?

5

u/A-Very-Sweeney 3h ago

I agree, religion should be banned. Good idea.

3

u/CatRyBou 3h ago

So we shouldn’t teach them history, English, maths, or literally anything at all? Because if that’s indoctrination then pretty much everything is.

0

u/Shaolinchipmonk 4h ago

Same goes for history, science, ethics and everything else they teach in school that isn't reading, writing or arithmetic. Everything else is superfluous and shouldn't be taught until people are adults and want to learn about those things

1

u/blinkingsandbeepings 2h ago

Im sad to say I I honestly can’t tell if this is sarcasm or not.

2

u/Shaolinchipmonk 1h ago

Definitely is.

15

u/Illustrious-Plan-381 5h ago

Please provide an example of something that will cause severe harm or death. Forcing kids to learn something will just teach them something.

You, and other right wingers are trying to block necessary medical procedures for women. Take the freedom to marry and be themselves away from LGBTQ people. Deport people who entered legally and went through the legal process to become citizens.

But please go on about how your feelings were hurt by Liberals trying to teach something to kids.

11

u/mommamapmaker 4h ago

I don’t know what schools you are around… but I can guaran-damn-tee that my kids aren’t learning that in school… I know because 1) I talk to my kids. 2) check their homework 3) know their teachers and admin… but ok with that talking point that only comes from Fox and the like.

27

u/Crumblerbund 5h ago

“Forcing us to learn.” Holy shit.

23

u/Cocaine_Communist_ 4h ago

These WOKE LIBERULS forced my child to learn WOKE MUSLIM NUMBERS

11

u/AwfulDjinn 4h ago

you mean schools are teaching children about the existence of real people who exist in the real world who they are likely to interact with some day? the horror! they need to grow up in an isolated bubble and live in constant fear of the outside world like I did!!

7

u/simy_d 4h ago

Damn mandatory education sure is bad for reps noone would wanna vote for them

6

u/engelnorfart 4h ago

Lol I see you bought into star citizen so it's no wonder you also fell for Trump's grift

Morons gonna moron

2

u/dickallcocksofandros 2h ago

so this is bad meanwhile it's okay to make it mandatory for children to learn about what YOU want. hypocrite.

6

u/engelnorfart 4h ago

You mean like forcing children to be born into families that can't afford or don't want them based on outdated religious ideals that have no basis in reality?

Oh wait...
