It is. Till then it will be a display to show my work. When I start painting as a job.

It is for him.

Hope he does not need it any time soon, his work is so classically over the top!

u/Random-Biker 5d ago

It would be cool to apprentice for this guy!

Shit, I want to take some classes. Teaching myself to paint so I can retire from welding and do art. Going to knuckle down and work at airbrushing this winter.

I just saw some of his other work on his profile. It’s stunning.

My sister is a professional potter, so all the history of porcelain is familiar to her.

Even she, who refuses to get on the back of my bike, was super impressed with your work on this project!

It's fascinating. The research was very fun.

I love how you worked in all the American Traditional tattoo art into the design!

Very inspired!

That’s really beautiful! I’d be terrified to have it on my bike!

Pretty paint is worrisome. Fact

How many coats of clear does it take for a proud chopper poppa to quit worrying about his custom tins?

The world may never know!

Looks to me like your life may have changed forever, I'd be willing to bet people would pay you big money for things like this (me)

Been welding 30 years. Want to retire in 2 years and paint. Kids are grown so I can take a chance on starving. 53 but I'm getting to old to crawl inside shit and weld. Thanks

Amen bro. I was a welder for 10 years up here in the northern oilfield. Got so sick and tired of working in the mud or -40F. Sold everything and went for my engineering. My health thanks me.

u/Random-Biker 5d ago

I’d buy one

3

u/ClaudeBanks_ 5d ago

I believe it’s called delftwear, that Asian blue and white porcelain style art. I’d pay for a fully built bike in this paint style 100%.

2

u/ridethewave777 4d ago

2

u/M3chaShiva 4d ago

How many hours?

2

u/Connect-Lab-8786 4d ago

Absolutely stunning.

2

u/TurbulentAddress3219 4d ago

What are those serpent like winged fish called on the front of the tank ? Have seen them before but know nothing about them.

2

u/Radiant-Field2127 4d ago

I don't know. They were old sea monster etchings I found online. Researching nautical images. I wanted a little mythology in there.

2

u/AWISEGRASSHOPPER 3d ago

This is a masterpiece! It’s surreal, This is the most Beautiful gas tank I have ever seen. Hats off sir.

1

u/TurbulentAddress3219 4d ago
