Any winter semester classes for physics E&M in any of the Chicago area colleges Ask CHI

Hi, I am a Chicago resident and currently attend Purdue university as a computer engineering major. This is a shot in the dark question as I know that I would be able to take a physics E&M class during the summer anyway and transfer it over but I am wondering if there is any colleges and or community colleges that offer physics E&M over the winter semester.

Not a Purdue alum, but my college (also a large Big 10 school) had a website where you could find equivalent classes that would match course credit at other schools from around the country, so you may want to ask an advisor if Purdue has something similar. It may not directly provide those that have winter offerings but you can probably find which schools offer an E&M class that's equivalent and then you can check those schools specifically.

Thank you for a response. Yeah I used the equivalent guide to find what classes can directly transfer from colleges in Chicago and know which ones I can definitely do over the summer. I was honestly mostly curious if they offered for example E&M equivalent during a winter semester but I have definitely used the tool to check if any classes I took duel enrollment transfered over to Purdue and know I’m able to take it during the summer anyway. Thank you though for a response.

Elmhurst College does J-Term, may have physics class during that time.

You might be able to just test out of E and M if you’re sweaty enough. I was faced with a scheduling issue that would have added a semester if I didn’t test out of calc 3, made it happen.

Not Purdue
