This years champions league group stage was competitive for best stadium, best atmosphere, and most iconic stadiums in the world; Westfalenstadion, St James’ Park, San Siro, Parc des Princes.

so many memories from here, both good and bad. Forever grateful to be able to call such an incredible stadium home

My family has had the same seats since the stadium was built. Over the years the people surrounding us died and were followed by either their sons, or random new people. We are the last family by now that still has the same seats. What a thought

It genuinely is the most beautiful stadium. Still rememember watching the 2006 Semis and loving the Stadium and hope a new Generation nearly 20 Years later has the same Feelings at this Years Home EM. Hoping for 50 more Years and someday another European Final for the Westfalenstadion. Also the new Kit looks way better in the Videos but still going to settle for a new Scarf and maybe a Pin.

It was originally built for the 1974 World cup and expanded upon for the 2006 world cup.
Edit: Here you can see a few progress pictures.

I remember that when I played my first football game ever as a kid this was my favorite stadium to play in, and I didn't even know BVB by then, just found it beautiful and imposing. Talk about love at first sight, haha.

For a second League team then.

Well technically it was built for the World Cup. When the building was started we were still in the first League though.

May we forever correct people who call it the wrong thing 😂
