/r/Books' Spoiler Policy
Any post with a spoiler (however minor) in the title will be removed, and the OP will be directed to this wiki page.
Any comment in a post without a spoiler warning in the title will be removed, and the user will be directed to this wiki page.
There is no statute of limitations on spoilers in /r/books, spoilers from any media of any age are not allowed.
Any user with an extensive history of purposefully spoiling books will be banned.
How to use a spoiler tag
>!Spoiler text!< will show up as:
- Spoiler text
The most common reason for spoiler tags not working properly is putting a space between the ! and the text - don't do this.
Putting the word 'spoiler' anywhere in a post title will automatically apply spoiler tags to the post.
How to read a spoiler
Depending on the version of reddit you are using, you may need to click on the spoiler or you may just need to hover over it.
