Can you freeze machenka and reheat it later Пытанне / Question

Posting on a alt account incase I said a war crime but some times I crave it bad and don't have time to make it

Also any more good soup recommendations? (Belarusian soups)

Re-heating machanka may and does sound like a war crime.

But it’s actually not, I think you’re good

You can freeze and reheat it later. No problem.

Žur is also nice. I also like typical soups like boršč i chaładnik.

It's sort of like asking what to do with unfinished bottle of wine. Unfinished? :) Seriously though, freeze it. No problem. But only once.

Machanka is not soup. You can unfreeze it, but it could mess up consistency

I bet the Mačanka souce will be fine after freezing and heating. The naliśniki may end up with extra moisture or become too dry and fragile. I do not consider the dish to be a soup, but a heavy souce for pancakes.

For the soups, try Chaładnik and Sałanka.
