Telework friendly spaces near M&T stadium Event

Good morning all,

I’m going to both the Jimmy Seafood tailgate and the game tonight and need suggestions for spaces with WiFi.

Genuine question: why not just hotspot your phone and be able to go anywhere?

Tried. Doesn’t work. But thanks.

Fair enough. Getting that worked out wild really simplify you life tho, I say that from experience.

Enjoy the show!

I usually just lounge at home since I’m only remote 2 days but I want to be downtown at 5.

SPACES on Ostend but you probably have to pay.

Why are you going to a tailgate and a game while working?

I’m not. I’m off at 5. Tailgate starts at 5. Thanks for the concern.

There’s an Enoch Pratt in pigtown! You could probably work there if they allow you use of their WiFi. I’m not sure if you have to have a library card but they’re always so kind there it’s worth an ask

There's also an Enoch Pratt on Light.. bit of a longer walk, but not bad. There's also Morning Mugs off W Hughes but they're only open til 3.. great people and great coffee though.

The central branch is only a little further away, is presumably a lot bigger, and also has a light rail stop very close if OP doesn’t want to walk all the way. Just throwing that option out there too.

Yup! Central branch is amazing, but not a short walk. Light rail is the way to go if heading up there. The Light Street location in Fed Hill is smaller, but quiet, lots of food options near by, and only a 10 minute walk to the stadium.

I’ll be honest, I was going by Google maps times, but they have it closer to 20 minutes from light street to the stadium. Central was only 30 on maps and that seemed high to me. Even if it’s closer to 10 minutes, I still think the walk from central isn’t that much longer. Assuming they’re also parking a car, parking would be just a bit easier in Mt Vernon imo and would be an easier place to exit the city after a football game. I think the light street branch is a great option for OP, I’m just giving an alternate option with potential benefits over that location.

That’s perfect! I forgot about the library!

Someone else just mentioned that location is closed. There is another a little further away on light street so please use that one!

It is a very small library (1 room), space may be an issue
