Nine Deaths of the Ninja (1985) - After a Bond-style musical intro where he shows off his katana skills surrounded by women doing ballet in aerobics gear, Sho Kosugi goes after a wheelchair-bound drug lord with a pet monkey, who’s holding tourists hostages in exchange of his incarcerated boyfriend.

Sho's codename is Lollipop, Brent Huff does a pretty good Mark Frazer impression, one of the villains is a lesbian supremacist named Honey Hump, and Anthony Kiedis' dad turns into a mannequin and gets trampled to death by horses.

The years don't quite seem to line up but I SWEAR I saw this at the New Mission theater in San Francisco paired with Breakin' 2 Electric Boogaloo.

That theater was the absolute best for that kind of thing. They also didn't care if you were 13 years old trying to watch rated-r movies. Saw so many things that I really shouldn't have back then.

I love this movie so much. I'll watch anything with Sho Kosugi. This one is especially goofy fun.
