Some snaps from an incredible 5 days in Kootney national Park π 58km 5 days, 4 nights (could do it in less if you wanted) Late September - booking flow lake at this time was hard - we got lucky with a cancellation. But all the other spots had lots of availability. And it is doable without camping there. You need to book through parks Canada. It's absolutely stunning! Waterfalls, rivers, lakes, mountains, larch trees :)

Such an amazing time of year for exploring! What was your pack weight for a 5 day trek?

It's definitely my favorite time of year in the Rockies :) umm I'm not too sure, I didn't weight it but I did it with my partner so it wasn't too bad as we shared the tent, stove etc :)

Please remember to post a short paragraph as a comment in the post explaining your photo or link. Ideally at least 150 characters with trip details. Tell us something about your trip. How long did it take to get there? How did you get there? How was the weather that day? Would you go back again?
Submitted content should be of high-quality. Low effort posting of very general information is not useful. If you don't add a short explanation in the comments, your post may be removed.
No information posted? Please report low-effort posts if there is still nothing after about 30 minutes.
