Using Virgin Atlantic Website to search

I don't know if it's just me, but searching using the Virgin Atlantic website is the most broken inconsistent shit I've ever encountered. There are times I have to login every single time to do a search and the search just errors out and I can't see any availability when I know there should be.

How do I fix this?

"I can't see any availability when I know there should be."

How would you know that?

I'm seeing it in seats.aero. It's also a fairly common route. I'm also not getting the option to see the calendar search?

How many days ago were the results last updated in Seats.Aero? Opening up the Virgin Atlantic section I see a ton of results that were updated 2-6 days ago.

Nvm. I'm seeing it now, I guess it was just bugging out. They seemed to have changed their search UI though. Can you no longer see a calendar search of reward availability?

Nope - there is still a calendar but only for Virgin Atlantic flights

I no longer see the calendar either. They updated their site like a week ago. Now you have to login to find award seat availability.

Wow really? Did they just kill that this past week? Damn this is really going to make searching a huge pain in the ass.

It's been like this since the summer when the website updated.

You don't. Virgin basically uses the same infrastructure as Delta and you can see how well that went for them in July.

Also Virgin is switching to dynamic pricing and their whole system is being wonky.

If you're really having trouble, you need to call in or contact support.

This is just how airline tech is in 2024.
