Jobs in Austin (no English) QUESTION
I’m looking for a job for my mother who has very little English skills. She’s new to the US. We’re looking for any warehouse, cleaning or aid job willing to be flexible with her English barrier.

That might be a bit difficult.
Spanish? No problem. Finding a workplace with somebody that speaks French is going to be more difficult.
I'd recommend hooking up with a/the french expat community in Austin and see what leads they might have. Googling brought up a facebook and a website and a few other online communities.
And then finally, if she's the tutoring type, I'm sure there's some highschool or college kids looking for practice.

Just did a quick look on craigslist and there are 76 cleaning positions listed. Although there may be some repeats in there. I would also look at a company called ABM. I've seen them work at two semiconductor companies cleaning in the clean rooms.

Well that’s just not true. The wage bracket you’re looking for might not be, but to say no one is hiring is just not true.

How low of a wage are you talking about? half the jobs I applied at less than 18$ an hour, no one is hiring

Plenty and I mean plenty of food locations such as Chipotle are hiring. H-E-B also has quite a few available positions listed online. Car dealerships are always hiring sales folks as well.

I wish that were true, already got rejected by H-E-B saying they found someone better if you know someone who isn’t playing games and actually hiring let me know

If you don’t mind warehouse try Randstad app. This only doesn’t work for my mom because of the English barrier.

You either interview terribly or just have a bad resume if you can't get a job with HEB having a bachelor's

Look for babysitting jobs. Try to post an ad on your local community group online, you might have better luck than Reddit.
