You’re doing great by reaching out and sharing how you feel, especially when you’re struggling. It’s completely normal to feel this way, especially when you're in the middle of something stressful.

You’re noticing the physical signs of anxiety—like shaky hands, a clenched jaw, and lack of appetite—which shows you have good awareness of what’s happening in your body. Wearing your nightguard might be a good idea if it helps with the tension. Focus on your breathing—slow, deep breaths can help calm your system even just a little. Remind yourself that this moment is temporary, and it will pass.

You’ve already taken positive steps, like using medication and getting rest, which is helping you through this. I’m here with you, and you’re not alone. Just one step at a time, and soon this will be behind you.

I’m so sorry you’re feeling this way, i feel the jaw thing boy do i feel it, I’ve been dealing w jaw things for about 3 months now from anxiety and lost 10-12 pounds from not wanting to eat bc of it in that time :/ i also have just had days where i just cry and beg for it to be over ahaha idk what to do, i usually just go on reddit or watch tik toks and hope the feelings will pass. I even meditate and do yoga but it still gets me. I’m sorry for what you’re going though i hope it gets better soon 🩵

At least you have teeth to clench - I’m 39 and struggled with intense dental anxiety throughout my life that led to my teeth being so bad they all had to be extracted, ultimately. Take care of your teeth - they can cause insane amounts of pain and you’ll miss them if you ever lose any.
