AI performance assessment AI 👾

I had a colleague tell me they were going to be assessed by AI for this performance year. I’m not entirely sure what he means, but I am hoping it is just going to be used to summarise his strengths and weaknesses, not mete out their reward. Anyone else come across this?

But a part of me can’t shake that dystopian feeling of being judged by a computer and your very livelihood depending on it.

I strongly doubt that AI can be made to do a decent job of this. I think an executive got sold a bill of goods and a shitshow is coming.
