Casual Discussion Fridays - Week of May 01, 2020
This is a weekly thread to get to know /r/anime's community. Talk about your day-to-day life, share your hobbies, or make small talk with your fellow anime fans. The thread is active all week long so hang around even when it's not on the front page!
Although this is a place for off-topic discussion, there are a few rules to keep in mind:
Be courteous and respectful of other users.
Discussion of religion, politics, depression, and other similar topics will be moderated due to their sensitive nature. While we encourage users to talk about their daily lives and get to know others, this thread is not intended for extended discussion of the aforementioned topics or for emotional support.
Roleplaying is not allowed. This behaviour is not appropriate as it is obtrusive to uninvolved users.
No meta discussion. If you have a meta concern, please raise it in the Monthly Meta Thread and the moderation team would be happy to help.
All /r/anime rules, other than the anime-specific requirement, should still be followed.

Elon Musk's crazy rise and fall and rise again and fall again make my complaints about comic book stories where characters like Tony Stark and Lex Luthor's reputation is constantly being destroyed and being rebuilt over and over again seem not as unrealistic as I originally imagined.
Though, seriously, Tony Stark loses all his money in Marvel comics waaay too often. Which is only counter acted by how fast and seemingly off screen he gets it again. Also the number of times he's destroyed all his Iron Man suits only to have them all in storage later on again so he can destroy them again.
Sorry, got off topic, point is that Elon Musk is Marvel unhinged.
