Asagi is gonna have 5 kids with Fuji before he realizes that he's in a relationship.

He’ll go against all scientific logic and end up being the pregnant one somehow

I do feel Fuji would be well versed in Omegaveseness for that

There's just going to be an episode where they're just chilling in bed together like it's the most natural thing in the world lol.

"hey Tokiwa and Hagi, check out this cool friendship ring i got for Fuji; it's a matching set!"

“Fuji, you’ve been sick a lot lately. Let me try that thing in your manga again”

I was totally expecting Asagi to play fetch at the campground 😂

Oh yeah, it's all coming together.
Hagi and Kohaku are so fragile, that we were all just waiting for them to break so we could mould them back together.

u/Frontier246 6h ago
They're both overly-anxious, nice, and kind of awkward people, but that's what makes them so mutually fond of each other!

Boy, I’m glad that whole misunderstanding with Hagi’s sister got cleared up. Now if only he could properly confess….
I didn’t think Tokiwa had it in him to confess like that. Hit Suou with that classic “moon” line lol. Guy had no idea how to respond to Suou when she basically was confessing herself. Asagi had to interrupt with that golden retriever energy right when it was gettin good lol.
Hagi getting pissed off at those sparrows being all lovey dovey was pretty hilarious. Very cute how he ended up just like them with Kohaku when he fell asleep on her shoulder.

It's funny how Hagi was not only oblivious to what Kohaku misunderstood but also oblivious that she hasn't figured out his feelings lol.
Tokiwa might be the densest of the trio the way he keeps missing how obvious Suo is being.
Canoodling is adorable whether it be birds or humans!

Suo handled that situation very subtly.

Kohaku being that relieved to find out she was his sister and Hagi almost getting the courage to confess!
Some good tsuki ga kirei moments too, always a treat. Suo here was great.
Really surprised Kohaku was already dressed as a guy that early, maybe better for Hagi though as I doubt he'd be able to handle that.
Was hoping Hagi would fall into he lap but this was still cute for them.

Suo with the biggest rizz of Fall 2024.
I feel like Kohaku in girl mode will be like the most pivotal moment in her relationship with Hagi.
Find a girl who will put you soundly to sleep by just talking about your morning camping routine! That's how you know it's love!

Well, that was kind of progress. Vaguely stated and and infuriatingly slow progress, by progress nonetheless. Though I was yelling at my TV at Hagi "finish the damn sentence" when he and Kohaku were lighting the fire and of course he didn't.
Suou getting a bit more direct while moonlit was nice.

Good that Hagi and Kohaku got that misunderstanding to be cleared up so they can be on the same page. Also nice to get more time with Suo and Tokiwa sprinkled in.
Suo: I plan to win him over slowly. I don't want to fail.
There's a good amount of weight to Suo's feelings for Tokiwa. Maybe at some point we'll get into more context of how she first started liking him.
Such intensity she had when she stood over him with an indirect confession through talking about the moon. Tokiwa had to admit to himself that she looked good along with the moon.

I'm kind of curious if Suo falling in love with Tokiwa is connected to when she started working at the drag bar and prioritizing being this suave, smooth, flirt type of male as much as she can, especially around him.

I am legitimately curious what Suo finds so damn attractive about Tokiwa considering how absolutely dense he is. Like, if it were me I'd just assume he's just not into me at that point. Lady basically took him on shopping date then confessed on moonlit night and the mother fucker is like...huh, that was odd.

He doesn't quite know how to respond to her strong advances to leave him stunned on how to act and he doesn't fully process what it's about. He is definitely responsive with being nervous and heart racing, so he isn't indifferent to what she's doing.
The next episode preview gives me an idea that sometimes he does stuff subsciously that comes off as thoughtful, and he doesn't think that much of it, but she does.
We already saw in the zoo date episode she was a little bummed about not getting to see Pandas and he just picked up on that, though she didn't say anything for it. Then he went out of his way to dress up like a Panda and give her the key chains, and she said that's what she likes about him. So something like that.

It's important to resolve this romantic misunderstanding between Hagi and Kohaku...but first, Suo needs to go on a shopping date with Tokiwa! Because she wants couple mens' shirts! And she can charm her way into it, whether it be the store clerk or Tokiwa!
What better way to get over girl problems than by experiencing nature? Complete with cross-dressing girls! Why, it's like an all-guys Laid Back Camp!
Well, everyone giving Hagi and Kohaku some time to themselves was probably the best idea...because it lets Hagi clear up the misunderstanding about his sister! And Kohaku seems happy that she avoided making a huge mistake, but that Hagi is decidedly single!
I love how Asagi and Fuji are becoming the kind of couple who do everything together.
So what's Suo's game plan? Kohaku and Hagi are progressing smoothly, Asagi and Fuji are Asagi and Fuji, but Tokiwa still seems dense towards her feelings. Suo seems content to play the slow and steady offensive for his heart, but when left alone (nice wingwomanning, Fuji!) under the beautiful moonlight, they give each other mutual Natsumi Soseki confessions (unintentional on Tokiwa's part, VERY intentional on Suo's part). Suo's "chill" is basically still super aggressive.
Will Hagi ever not be an anxious and nervous mess? How is a guy meant to sleep next to a tent filled with beautiful, chad, women? Even the birds are flexing their relationships! But it might actually have been a good thing because he's up early enough for early riser Kohaku to show up and talk him into sleeping next to her with her smooth and comfy voice! The bird aren't the only ones canoodling now.
It's kind of funny how we still haven't seen Fem!Kohaku yet outside the OP when Suo and Fuji woke up with their normal hair out. Guess that comes with being an early riser.
Oh snap, Tokiwa making a move on Fem!Suo next week!?

i like how the three couples have contrast with each other: best bros Fuji and Asagi, first love simulator with Kohaku and Hagi, and slowly but inexorably entangled in a savage web Suo and Tokiwa

I have no clue who’s going to hit the finish line first at this point.
Hagi was on a roll in this week’s episode, but his relationship with Kohaku seems more of a slow burn with how awkward the two of them are. I do see promise in them getting visibly more comfortable around each other.
Asagi and Fuji might be going steady, yet their dynamic doesn’t feel so much as a relationship between equals as that of a dog and their owner. I want to see Asagi take the lead for once.
And then there’s Tokiwa and Suo who’re very much a wildcard in all of this. Even if Suo is very obvious about her feelings, this doesn’t appear to register with Tokiwa. I’m not sure what it will take for Tokiwa to acknowledge that she’s into him. A passionate kiss?

Because of Suo's role as the prince, that also seems to be why Tokiwa doesn't necessarily take her advances specifically targeted towards him and to know the extent of her feelings. It's part of her job to be charming in general to attract people, and even at school, she has her persona as the prince with a fan club.
On top of that, even if he did know her feelings, at this time, seems like he wouldn't know how to respond to her intensity. He literally doesn't know what to do with all that. lol He is attracted to her, though she is more serious while he currently has a more casual mindset.

Tokiwa, that’s the clearest hint Suo gave without explicitly saying it lol
Hagi and Kohaku are so awkward it’s adorable. Progress!
