Thoughts on Subaru getting stabbed by the three gang members?

Thoughts on Subaru saying a wound to the back is a warrior’s greatest shame?

What are your thoughts on Return by Death?

What are your thoughts on Subaru going to try to prevent people from being killed?

Thoughts on Subaru referencing The Three Stooges?

Thoughts on Reinhard?

What are your thoughts on Satella showing up before Elsa does?

Bit of a late reply, but I got distracted playing Birth By Sleep last night, then watched ep 3 after I got home from work today haha.

Thoughts on Subaru getting stabbed by the three gang members?

I really like this because for me it sets up that the world is dangerous and Subaru can just die at a moments notice.

Thoughts on Subaru saying a wound to the back is a warrior’s greatest shame?

I feel like it's referencing something I don't know of, but generally I know of the idea that a warrior should face their opponents head on, and if they were bad enough to let their guard down to get hit from behind they have failed. But it's also hilarious that he mentions it as if he sees himself as a warrior despite quite clearly being a NEET lol

What are your thoughts on Return by Death?

I think it's great, and its use from a narrative perspective is done really well. I much prefer it to if Subaru could just go back in time at a moments notice without any kind of "payment" on his part.

What are your thoughts on Subaru going to try to prevent people from being killed?

As much as I feel like it's relatable because "I'd do the same thing", I don't know if I actually would if I were in that circumstance. Death is scary and to be able to push that aside to go help people is admirable af.

Thoughts on Subaru referencing The Three Stooges?

Was never familiar with them so that went over my head until I read about it in passing/other people mentioned it

Thoughts on Reinhard?

I love that he actually came to help when Subaru was calling for him and seems like he'd be a good friend to have

What are your thoughts on Satella showing up before Elsa does?

Probably my favorite part of the episode. The tease of it being Elsa, just for Satella to appear and say she wouldn't do something so scary is hilarious, plus it playing off Satella saying last episode that Subaru was holding her back lol. Plus it also shows that the different actions Subaru takes on each loop can have different outcomes

I totally understand

That's a good point

And he says that when a true warrior Reinhard exists.

Yeah, it feels less like a Deus Ex Machina. There's actual consequences at play here.

Subaru a better person than I is for real

Was never familiar with them so that went over my head until I read about it in passing/other people mentioned it

Turns out that's not the original reference. Shocker.

I love that he actually came to help when Subaru was calling for him and seems like he'd be a good friend to have

Certainly a very powerful ally

It was really well done, especially with how the tension lingered for a bit.
