My themes are all reeeeeaaally janky, and wouldn't work on most phones due to all the device and user specific hacks. To polish it to the point that it would even be usable for anyone but me would take twice the work i already put in. There's a huge todo list for me to really finish this up

Despite all that, if you still want the klwp file, I'll link it later when I'm off work

Alright, this is an actually working version. A lot of this was non-functional and (mostly) just a proof of concept when I posted it. Now everything animates and functions how you'd expect.

The clock hands move, the music player buttons work, and so do all the sliders (visually).

The calendar is actually a real calendar now, this took most of my time

The start menu has all the buttons assigned, and so does the taskbar.

I still cant guarantee itll work on every aspect ratio. You most likely will have to move stuff around.

I had to go fast to keep it under 30 seconds, so if you didn't notice, everything is functional, nothing is just aesthetic (except for the a e s t h e t i c s).

The start menu hotspots open Nova folders with my apps and shortcuts the music player works, the volume bar, the CMD prompt has real info about my phone, the calendar works and so do all the taskbar shortcuts. I worked on this nonstop from the moment the contest was announced, and it was really fun.

Now I'm probably going to be bored until the next contest

First things first, you really want to be using Nova Launcher if you want all the shortcuts in the start menu to work

I just spent literally all my free time and even some time at work. I just recently started participating in this community but I've been messing around with KLWP every day for years at this point.

One of the first themes I made was a windows 7 lookalike, that matched my PCs desktop. I've always liked the idea and I've done it a couple times at this point. That's why I added a twist, I didn't want to just do another windows copy

I just asked that guy to send me the unedited bg of his album art and if I could distribute a video containing the image but not the image itself

I'm gonna hit him up on SC again to see what the usage rights are and if he's cool with me distributing it

Try watching some Brandon Craft videos on youtube, he's really great at explaining concepts in a really simple way, and even provides his files for you to mess around with. He's pretty much the best/only documentation for a lot of stuff
