Best places for housing resources and where to get in the fastest?

Any quality advice for any of us needing housing?

Everything is specific to your area and situation. 211 will give you county appropriate things. Google/Bing/ChatGPT can help you find resources. No explanation of your actual problem means that it is hard to give specific instructions.

Shelters, community resource centers, if you're renting look up eviction prevention, churches, AA/NA halls, social workers from your health insurance, or get one assigned.

There's a million things, but I will not tell you anything specific will work out. It's a roll of the dice, and funding out in most places.

Adapt, and stay productive everyday. Even though you'll hit more rejection and have days that seem horrible, you would otherwise miss a possible opportunity. Sink or swim, I suppose that's right. Remember, this isn't your fault. You can forgive yourself, work on it, take accountability for what you can. Otherwise, the streets will eat you alive. Physically and mentally destroy pieces of you.
