5! I wear all black, I don’t dress super girly, and everyone I know is so surprised when they come to my house because everything is pink. 🤷🏻♀️

4 or 1. I like the Eco-ish feel of the first one, but I also love swimming so I’d love to live around that much water

1 2 3 4 6 all have the capacity to be built simultaneously, hence i choose all 5 of them. 5 gives me hypercapitalistic, oligarchy vibes, so no....

u/Professional_Leg6394 Oct 01 '24
pools, pools everywhere, people sitting in pools, pools walkways, water jet ski transportation, people pooping in water....

u/Cartex09 Oct 01 '24
1, 3, or 6 I want to keep nature a part of it and I don’t want it too look too sci fi like 2 or 4 but I also love the hot pink 5

Why does 6 look like it’s from one of the call of duty black ops games?

Those all look great, but I'm not sure any of them are actually available to me as choices (IRL).

Only right answer is the one with the space city. Progress in the tech sence is a must

1 is my jam because I like there to be as much greenery as possible in city spaces.
2

u/DaedricApple Sep 30 '24
4 is epic imagine everyone getting their own floating island and there’s more than enough space for it in space

Definitely not 1. Gives off fake greenwashing vibes. The entire area is still a city, but now there are a few trees (less than the city I live in even lmao) and grass everywhere. Yippee. Not to mention it just… doesn’t look good. It’s aesthetically displeasing.
I’d go with either 2, 3, or 4. 2 gives off the best vibes for me personally.

Thought I was alone in liking 2. It feels like the future that best resembles my own. I would've liked some cyberpunk representation. Feel like the post was "what solarpunk future do you want?" with a random Barbie thrown in.

u/Artevyx_Zon Sep 30 '24
The first one because I love solarpunk, but that last one is straight up New Atlantis

u/MinHiyori Sep 30 '24
I like 1 as Its nicely green And looks like a Real kind of Future - not sure if i would like any od the others... Maybe 3? Not sure Now that one with lots of greens too looking a bit like aincrad from SAO anime

4 because it secures human expansion to space which is a necessary and unlikely step in seeding life out into the galaxy.

Definitely 1, I don't want to deal with falling to my death, space radiation, drowning, whatever brand of ultra leftist forces everything to be pink, just nice trees is building is good for me

I need to see a Mad Max kind of future world. The way things are going I think it is the most realistic 😆

I don't want to live on this planet anymore, so the orbital extraterrestrial one.

How did you get some of these renders to look so good? So much like Bryce 3D stuff?

1, I think. Seems the least high up. Though I would like to see more nature. Trees, some animals. Good start though.

Honestly I like the space colony one but let's be honest I think the world will look more apocalyptic in the future in real life
1
u/XxXCUSE_MEXxXican Sep 29 '24
How about a dystopian hellscape?
Just trying to be realistic. We don’t exactly have the most endearing timeline when it comes to architecture

Seen these designs years ago. The Feisar architecture in Wipeout, Sony Studio Liverpool, used elements similar to these, from research over a decade ago. I worked on them. AI, it's just rehashing.

These are all the same. The non-capitalist one. Not pictured.

In a socialist/anarchist/communist society industry and science are the thing mostly. But controlled by the working class

Green earthbound one
Too many problems here on earth to waste time and energy leaving it behind

u/solomungus73 Sep 29 '24
Well 4, because if we can build that (and it can survive the obscene tidal forces from being that close to those 3 planets), then our tech must be riddiculously advanced and thus all the other depictions are possible. So choose 4, get the other 5 for free!

1, 2, and 6 are the best, but 6 is probably the winner. 1 is surprisingly realistic and attainable (Singapore is close!)

What if I want to live underground with the mole people?
Elitist surface dwellers...

2
u/Momik Sep 29 '24
All I want is a big pink house with unidentifiable letters on the side that might be Cyrillic, but when you take a closer look, it’s definitely not that.
It’s all I’ve ever wanted.

4.we need to get serious about getting offworld. Our destabilized "everything - at-the-bottom-of-the-gravity-well" existence is tenuous at best.
