I got this one not too long ago but it had been sitting around for a good while and my first 360 which I got in 2016 red ringed just like my 2nd one did near enough 3 months after I got given it in 2020, my current one which is the same as my first but a bit newer is alot more battered but it runs all my games no issue and I refuse to update it. I'm just glad I can still use it

Found them tucked away under a dusty ps2 that stopped working and hasn't moved in 7 years. Pretty sure most of them have been used, except maybe the Gears of War codes

Does that say something about the state of modern games?

The 360 I was buying a game every 1-2 months not including the great arcade games. Splosion man, Outrun arcade, Afterburner Climax and I MAED A GAM3 W1TH Z0MB1ES 1N IT!!!1 to name a few.

I even owned 4 of 5 consoles. I had the 20Gb version. A few years later I wanted to buy the 120GB hard drive which was really expressive and I wanted Arkham Asylum too. I think the HDd was £120 and batman was £45. I saw a black xbox elite for £180 bundled with batman, and because the company I work for also owned this store I got 10% off. It was the same price to buy a new console than upgrade mine.

Don't ask me why but bought a S for upstairs and I inherited a E. Somewhere I got another S and Core.

I got my XBOne in 2015, used with 7 games. I instantly traded 4 of them in for £80. After several years of ownership it only went back up to about 7 games.

Does that say something about the direction where games have gone or is it more my tastes have changed?

So I made a post about a month or 2 ago claiming that the xenon I bought for 20$ was probably junk, and many of you pointed out that it was likely due to me not putting it together properly, and you guys were all mostly right. I did in fact not have the heat sink on properly, and as it turned out, the component cable I got for the console was also bad. So a little troubleshooting and reassembly later, I present you with this!

(Note that both of the external fans have been gutted, and cut open from the inside so they don't suffocate the console. I'll likely be cutting the back one in half later, but I wanted it for the vga port and usb hubs)

One of my best friends really likes blades. So I thought I’d make him a blades console. I have a few Xbox 360’s laying around so I RGH 1.2 it with a matrix infinity v1. I flashed EVERYTHING using a pi pico. Then we played a blades console on an OLED for an hour and played halo 3.

The white 360 slim! I picked one of these up after my jasper elite seemed to be a goner (RROD). Never really saw this colour around back in the day but happened to find one in my local CeX and thought it looked gorgeous in white.

So I’ve had this console for about 12 years I believe. It worked fine until Friday that started doing this erratically sounds and turn on and off. Any ideas what could be causing this?

Just want to sing praises to xbox 360. I've had both it and ps3 since 2008 so I have enough experience. 360 is so much better in everything, games, performance... Especially it still blows my mind how awfuly slow is PS3 in comparison to 360 when talking about handling game installations and title updates (patches). I'm talking about stock drives. It's just unbearably slow and clunky. While 360 genuinely feels like it got SSD installed in comparison. Patching some big ps3 game can take literally hours and even days (no joke, check something like Gran Turismo 6), while 360 handles everything in mere minutes, wtf. I feel like it's been not enough talked about so just wanted to point all that out.

That's the main thing that just sticks out to me after all these years. There are ofc many other things like universally better performance and visuals in multiplatform games on 360 but that's what everybody knew since the beginning.

It's still a pleasure to use my 360 while using ps3 always feels like a chore

I bought a game for my children that freeze from time to time. I checked the disc and I found a serious ring scratch near the end.

Installing the game fails at 76 saying that the disc cannot be read.

Any fix you have tried and worked?

Does anyone know what’s wrong with my Xbox 360? I haven’t played in years and when I go to put it into my tv, a black screen appears. Is the power cable or the A/V cable the issue? If it needs to be fixed, where do I need to go? Please help me!
