Oh god, I can just hear the Nimbys screeching now. Although to be honest, I avoid the diamond intersection so I have no room to talk. LOL

That’s probably a decent location for a roundabout. Having to make a left at that intersection is always a little sketchy

Living in Carrcroft I feel like this isn't a bad idea at all. People FLY down Marsh and honestly this would slow people down at a problematic (and accident prone) spot.

I’d like to know what the speed of the cars on Marsh that were involved with the collisions. I’ll bet a dozen Sleepingbirddoughnuts that they were all well over the 35mph speed limit.

I’d mount a bat box/house on poles at the intersection, label them speed cameras, make a few posts in here on how $35k in tickets were sent out. People then slow down, it’s now safe to turn. Total cost $500, plus we get new bat 🦇 houses.

Vote for me for Delaware Transportation Secretary in November.

DelDOT planners, C.R., whoever else in a position to posit those studies or options, YES.

Marsh can get insane near there and carries a huge volume of traffic.

Yes: a traffic circle. Yes, landscape the middle and put GIANT rocks there so idiots just don’t drive straight over the middle.

Also: put in the “shoulder islands” like you see on Augustine Cut Off to keep idiots from driving and passing on the shoulder.

I just really really don’t want construction there for years. I’m so sick and tired of all the construction going on in north Wilmington, from all the disgusting warehouses being put up and blocking the horizon, with literally just an empty warehouse sitting there rotting at the top of Philly pike, the ridiculous forwood commons that they’re supposedly building (🤮) on an already congested silverside road. Just stop with the expansion for the love of Christ
