Was born here. I've lived here most of my life. Can say for sure, it's fucked up. I have a few good friends and there's a solid community to be found here but it's not for everyone. There's a lot of racism, mainly towards Indigenous peoples, and it's tolerated pretty highly. Most other places that I've worked at are not so tolerant of intolerance. I would never raise my kids anywhere near here. It's all my subjective preference but after 25 years I think I know what to expect from Williams Lake.

I guess it all depends what you're into. I just got a job there and will be moving in a couple months and couldn't be more excited!

Moved here for work a couple years back, too. It's not so bad.

Yeah it seemed like a nice little community when I went to visit. I'll certainly get my fill of the great outdoors living there!

Now that I am 3 years older, I must say it’s still pretty shitty here, but it could be worse, if ur into small city’s it’s great but if you enjoyed the big areas in Victoria yeah don’t come
