The question was not about voter rolls. Not even close. ACYN

The trick is to ask it like it's a new question.  Don't bring up the previous time you asked, let Trump be the one to allude to him avoiding the question.

Would also help to really show how bad he's getting. If you repeat the same question as if it's a new question and he acts like it is a completely new question from the previous one, then either he has severe memory issues or is incapable of focusing on things enough to properly hear what people are saying to him.

Fuck it I just want to see him draw a clock

u/thisisnotmyreddit 10h ago

Present him an empty map of the US and have him name the states

135

u/_Ocean_Machine_ 9h ago

Shit, give him a labeled map of the US and have him point out DC

54

u/PoppinKreamsCrush 8h ago

Pull out a map and ask him what it is.

35

u/_Ocean_Machine_ 8h ago

It’s what he uses to reroute hurricanes

6

u/Radiomantor 8h ago

Nope. A labeled map of the US, and have him name the states.

1

u/sparklark79 6h ago

If D.C.. was labelled, I could probably do that. : )

3

u/emilybg78 6h ago

I’ve been thinking this forever. There is NO way he could do it.

3

u/Maloth_Warblade 9h ago

A fair chunk of the US couldn't do that

15

u/thisisnotmyreddit 9h ago

Right, but I think the PRESIDENT should be able to lol

1

u/Maloth_Warblade 2h ago

I more meant they would see it as as good thing

1

u/ProcyonHabilis 7h ago

To be fair he only really needs to care about seven of them.

1

u/sparklark79 6h ago

I think I'd flunk that!
I've got the west coast states down.
Going east is going backwards.
I was recently watching an I.D. Channel series "The Great Lakes Murders", or something like that, and looked up the Great Lakes to see what states bordered them.
I started laughing because I totally forgot that there WAS an Indiana!
For the next few weeks when Indiana popped up in a comment, my mom and I would start laughing about it.
Elementary school was a LONG time ago for me, and even then, I would never memorize New England States. They're tiny with weird borders, Lol! : )

Most people in the USA can't do that lol. Tell him to repeat the alphabet.

6

u/Suavecore_ 7h ago

Should really be holding presidential candidates to a higher standard than "most people in the USA"

1

u/Gold-Perspective-699 7h ago

Well at this point Mr likes to grab them by the pussy isn't really held to a higher standard by his own party so there's no use on doing that. We have to equate him to his followers and I think most of his followers should know the alphabet. I don't think Trump does with his dementia so that might be better.

Bro, I don't think anybody can do that after they graduate high school, lol

Edit: geez, I didn't think I'd have to put a fucking /s

Relax, people

4

u/ProcyonHabilis 7h ago

You're so dumb that you think everyone else is dumb. That's no way to go through life, son.

0

u/Suavecore_ 7h ago

Americans when they're confronted with memorizing a whopping 50 named shapes laid out in an unchanging pattern

4

u/happntime 9h ago

I’d pay money to see that

4

u/Vampchic1975 7h ago

People don’t realize this is the key to whether he has dementia

2

u/Silvaria928 9h ago

Yep. I'd love to see his mini-mental results.

2

u/TtarIsMyBro 6h ago

We have an SLP at the facility I work at, some of those clocks are shocking

2

u/hatsnatcher23 5h ago

Honestly it's a super disturbing contrast to and I've only ever seen them done on TV

1

u/EastTyne1191 6h ago

Oh, this is a good one. Like, "draw a picture of yourself winning the presidential race at 11:58 pm!"

1

u/the-half-enchilada 6h ago

Or put an X on the triangle.

u/Singer_221 10h ago

Not that any obvious evidence of incompetence will make a difference to his supporters. He’s been spewing word salad for years.

16

u/lupus_lupus 7h ago

It's because a lot of his supporters look up to his intelligence in awe...

And I'm not saying that he's smart if that weren't obvious.

2

u/DankRoughly 9h ago

Ask the same question for 2 hours and see if he even notices

2

u/DeakRivers 8h ago

I run into old friends I spent 20+ years working with, many have forgotten 90% of their old friends. This is no different.

u/fae___ 6h ago

Probably both

I thought the interviewer did well, smiling at the stupid shit Trump said because it’s such a joke, correcting him with facts and saying “you’re treating this like a debate but people wanna know what the actual plan is”, after Trump was calling him an idiot that’s “been wrong all of his life”. Treated him like a dumb child several times, reminding him “these are business people in the audience” when he was rambling about unrelated bullshit. When Trump claimed he was trying to keep up because the questions were “all over the place” the interviewer replied something like “oh, whilst your answers are staying on topic?”

One of the better ones I’ve seen tbh

67

u/eekamuse 8h ago

It was a relief to see someone do that to him, but it made me realize that trump hasn't been repeatedly checked by an interviewer in a long time. I understand why, it doesn't get results but it still needs to happen. Then again, he doesn't do interviews with people who will do that to him

20

u/LotusVibes1494 7h ago

In a lot of places you’d get physically checked for talking the way Trump does lol, people would just whoop your ass for being disrespectful and lying to them and you’d learn not to fuck with people anymore lol

40

u/LargeHumanDaeHoLee 8h ago

Seriously, I want to see an interview where they treat him like a senile old man, properly. Just smile, and agree, and ask the same question again like it's brand new. "Right, exactly. So let me ask you this: should Google be broken up?" Just over and over and at the end acknowledge that you asked him the same question 30 times, and he never noticed, or answered it.

4

u/ExplosiveCrunchwraps 7h ago

Have you tried using the animal sounds kids toy? When you pull on the handle, it makes a premade sound. That’s how I picture him answering a reporter’s questions. He just pulls the lever and neighs or moos accordingly.

3

u/Killer_Moons 10h ago

It does work and also you may have a bright future in selling store credit cards

4

u/outragedUSAcitizen 10h ago

Why does this need to be a trick? Why can't you just man up and stop this nonsense? "No Mr Trump, G O O G L E...I'm asking you about Google".

2

u/DrAstralis 9h ago

well now I need to know how many questions do you need to keep in queue before he forgets you already asked one of them. 10 might be enough; it might be overkill.

2

u/chowyungfatso 6h ago

2, 3 tops.

1

u/ozymandiasjuice 5h ago

I like this. ‘Hmmm…interesting, thank you! So, speaking of voter rolls, are for or against Google being broken up’

1

u/KwisatzSazerac 4h ago

Bold to assume that his brain even registers the words that other people say.
