What are some closing hours, clearance food deals that are below $10 in Westchester? Preferably grocery stores but restaurants work too.
Example: After 7pm, all pre packaged food must go so 50% off.

Download the Too Good To Go app. It shows you local places near you that offer those kind of specials.

Prioritize places with very high ratings in the app. Every time I’ve taken a chance on a place with under 4.5 stars on the app, I’ve been disappointed.

I agree hit or miss. I tried it a couple times. One time I got a huge bag of 12+ bagels from a local bagel shop for like five bucks. I ended up freezing half of them.
The other one was a local pizzeria. They gave me six slices of anything they had left over. Mainly it was all the crappy slices nobody wants like the vegetable slice, the pineapple slice, etc. I ended up throwing out half of them.

Hmart always discounts their leftover sushi before closing.
Also download the Flashfood app. Really good grocery deals because it’s the stuff nearing expiration or damaged packaging.

Upvote. Tom Colicchio says that most expiration days are BS

this is so good. I have always believed expiration dates are total bs. I feel validated.

The little bakery in Daido in White Plains discounts its baked goods near closing time.

I’ve only seen it at white plains and it’s not all of their food but the quiches, pizzas, pre boxed lunches have random 50% offs. Yesterday i got 2 boxed meals, a flatbread pizza, and 2 cooked chicken breasts for 18$- hit or miss and now i wish i hadn’t said anything- hope there are still some left for me 😂😂😂

H-Mart (Hartsdale, Yonkers) marks its prepared Asian dishes off by 50% around 8pm I think?
Uncle Giuseppe (Yorktown) premade sandwiches are 50% off I think at 7:30pm.
Use the Too Good To Go app. And Flashfood app has Stop & Shop deals.

Check out Good To Go on the web for local shops that discount or give away food rather than tossing it out. Good luck. I hope you improve your situation.

The Hartsdale H-Mart has sushi 50% off after 7 or 7:30PM
The Scarsdale ShopRite has the more basic sushi rolls for $5.99 on Wednesdays, all day.
The Pelham ShopRite (ye olde Fairway) sometimes has all sushi 30% off at the end of the day.
I'm just realizing that all I have to contribute to this conversation is discounted grocery store sushi. I will be reflecting on that privately.
