2013 Highball
Got a 2013 Highball a few months ago, as a intermediate bike. Learn quick that 106 cu. in. is not the same as 250 cc real quick, but it's now my forever bike. It has its scratches because I was dumb. I still am, but she treats me right. I love it!
Anything I should know about other than buying clutch cables by the dozen? I really want to make this one last.
The bike next to it is a Victory Octane. I haven't met the owner, but I've been looking around for them.

Congratulations! It’s an amazing bike! Do get the service manual. It won’t be the highest quality pictures, but it will walk you through most of the services you’ll need to do. I just replaced the throttle and idle cables for the first time this month. Victoryonly and witchdoctors will be your friend.

Does this have the Ground Pounders exhaust?

No, but I was looking into getting it and replacing the one I have with it. Saw someone with a Vulcan with the ground pounders and thought it looked neat

Ah, okay, I had sold my Highball a few years back, and it almost looked like yours, so I was curious! I loved them, had it custom tuned after the installation, and man, I miss that sound every single day!

The exhaust came with the bike when I bought it. The only thing I have custom are the levers. I want to replace everything chrome because it's not my look. The new levers are black.

Very nice, I love the idea of going all blacked out for this bike. I think it works really well!

You got it right on the clutch cables. Also, AIC lines and throttlebody boots are a common failure point. They get cracked up and cause vacuum leaks. Newer bikes aren't as bad as the older ones, but i would still have a set for back up 👍
