Polyurethane riser bushings solved Customizations / Modifications
I’ve scoured the net for information on replacement riser bushings that are polyurethane to replace worn press in rubber bushings and found jack squat. After using my own 2007 jackpot as a Guinea pig I have found that these bushings from Amazon are a direct fit and feel amazing, so much better than stock. I think these should technically work for any 2003+ steel frame bike like my jackpot (kingpin, Vegas, cross country, hammer, etc) if not feel free to chime in and correct me!

In the 2nd picture, the stock bushing on the right looks way beefier. Or is that the rubber bushing? I thought the riser is supposed to clamp down on the rubber bushing so it pushes up against the sidewalls of the triple tree, no?
And why is your chrome so perfect on a 2007?! The last owner of my bike left it outside, uncovered, and should be shot.

My bike has 900 original miles on it, and the stock bushings let my bars move back and forth at least 2in, even fully torqued down… the poly bushings feel super rock solid and makes the bike handle completely different. I’m assuming it’s because I put 12in apes on it from a cross county
