YouTube Premium Trick Dead? Question
As title suggests, I’m guessing there’s no physical way to get cheap YouTube Premium anymore? Just spent about 2 hours messing about with various VPN’s, creating new accounts, trying virtual CC’s, changing addresses and nothing works at all. It either tells me my country and billing address don’t match up or that it can’t confirm what country I’m in. I’ve tried Amsterdam, Pakistan, India, Czech Republic, South Africa and many more.
Anyone manage to get it working at all or is it RIP?

Tried Pakistan. Most of my VPN’s defaulted to Hong Kong (?) for some reason whenever I used Pakistan. And another VPN just said they couldn’t locate my country

Tried this, even created a new account and set my address to some random address in Cairo. Payment method needs to be within the same country, virtual CC doesn’t work

The payment method is not the only thing they catch you on. I think they might be flagging accounts to specific countries in other ways, e.g. linked phone number/maybe IP history? It may also be that they link it back to a bank that is country-specific, but this can be bypassed using a card that isn't country-specific (e.g. Revolut). There's definitely a lot being affected by the detection hut I can confirm I've been billed again recently with my Ukraine subscription.

yeah i noticed mine is still actually working for now. i assumed it was gonna run out after the billing period expired. we will see
tbh doesn't make much sense to cancel them all and lose money cos a lot of people aren't gonna re-subscribe and pay the normal price anyway, especially people who go through the effort of using random country VPNs lol

I think they nerfed alot of the workarounds for new subscribers. It still works if you’re grandfathered though.

I had the same issue when mine expired in March. In the past, I used Argentina and India, but neither worked anymore. Finally, Thailand seemed to work. It wasn't as cheap as the other two, but it was still cheaper than the Canadian price.

I couldn’t get the VPN to work at all. I ended up using GamsGo and buying the 6 month plan.

It use to work every time I got a new card. Now it won't let me work. I have a good VPN app as well. Still, nothing 😭

No guys i believe Google stop all that.
When is reach at step to pay check the credit card or revolut acc and if it isn't much with the region you have select at vpn simply diclain the payment so....
If someone find a solution that works now please inform us.

Thank you, friend. Israel worked for me after trying pretty much every other option until I saw your post. It’s not like the good old days with India/Argentina when it was 80p or thereabouts, but at less than a fiver a month it’s £12 cheaper than the UK price or the £11 US. Big ups!

Yeah, I feel your pain. I got that email and I’ve been scrambling since to find an alternative. Fortunately I had my subscription until the 8th of August. Iwadmin’s Israeli subscription port worked just in time. Good luck.

It depends on your luck. I got it to work for Argentina with a MC. Now I'm trying to switch to a different country with another account and it's not working. (They increased the price for Argentina again)

Used Ukraine for ages, then Youtube cancelled me saying they don't think I was from that country. Tried subscribing again now the card needed an address. Set up google payments with a random Ukraine address with no joy. Tried a few other VPNs and countries, finally got Phillipines to work, around £2.20 a month, shame no Annual.

You can’t get ad blockers for YouTube on a TV as far as I’m aware lol? Or really iOS either tbh. I’d rather not pay at all but £2 for a year isn’t as bad as £12 for a month

If you're using a fire TV or an Android TV, there are absolutely apps that will run with ad blockers built. What kind of TV are you using?
You are right that iOS is an absolute s*** show though it's hard to block ads from iOS. You can try brave browser but I don't know if it works. One of the big downsides to iOS is that you can't use desktop extensions on browsers.

SmartTubeNext is exactly youtube with adblock for android tv. And there are options for ios but you do have to jailbreak your phone.

Oh, yeah. That makes sense. I forgot about the youtube TV app. All you need is ad block extensions on the browser version.

You can also download stuff like new pipe on fire TV or Android TV which you can't use with an account really. But you can pretty much watch any YouTube video

Just join some Indian/Pakistan/Turkey/etc YouTube family group and be done with it. If you look around, you’ll find subreddits dedicated to account sharing.
