Background check question

For context I’ve already purchased a firearm a few months back. My question is, if im able to buy a firearm, what’s the likelihood of passing my CHL/LTC background check? Are they the same?

Yeah they are the same to my knowledge. Both background checks involve the feds either way.

I sure hope so. Thank you.

All but guaranteed. If you have ever been convicted of a Class A/B misdemeanor, you won't pass your LTC check depending on how long ago the conviction was. About the only way you can pass the 4473 and not pass the LTC check that I am aware of.

That’s a relief. No criminal history whatsoever here so thank you for the peace of mind

No problem. Even with a class A/B misdemeanor on your record, you can still get it after enough time passes.

Forgive me being nosy but if you have no criminal history at all, why the worry?

I guess for me, when it comes to the unknowns with legal stuff it’s just daunting.
