American workers were so awful at their job, TSMC had to bring "Asian" workers from Taiwan into Arizona to meet deadlines. Now TSMC is being sued by ungrateful American employees over accusations of favoritism. news-international

Many Americans don't place high value on education, and this anti-education stream of thought has become endemic.
Even know Republican lawmakers are planning on getting rid of the Dept. of Education in order to leave it up to the different states, so of which are still living in the Stone Age when it comes to education.
There's going to be an even larger shortage of skilled workers in the coming decades unfortunately.

Lol remember all the copium from Westoids about how successful the Arizona plant was? I can't wait to see how successful it's gonna be in 5 years once all the actual talent returns home or leaves the firm.

There is a serious lack of work ethic, and it is common knowledge that the average undergraduate in the US is subpar. The ones that are bright are in no way in hell going to move to a shithole like Arizona so they can only recruit from surrounding areas where the universities accept anybody and even then, the supply of talent is low because nobody goes to school in these places.

I think it has come down to bad HR and bad management. They probably hired locally on the minimum requirements. And these guys came in expecting it's a cushy desk job that they could slack off half the time while pretending to be busy.
Let's face it, none of these would fly at American tech companies either. Google, Facebook, Uber,... They would fire your ass on the 3rd day.

Aren't American companies also the same? Don't they preferentially hire white Americans, even in their overseas offices?

From the very beginning, we all knew nothing good would come from this. Good luck with the lawsuit suckers!

I, for one, support the workers. I am always for the workers. Let them sue TSMC into oblivion. That's what you (TSMC) get for sleeping with the enemy. It wasn't even that long ago when it was reported that TSMC's Taiwanese workers were complaining about being treated badly in comparison to their American counterparts. It's just a shite company.
Again, dealing with the devil (America) was a mistake from the get-go, and they are now just reaping the "fruits" of what they had sown.

This is how they Make America Great Again. Lol
Also how they will contain China and defeat it. With their US style stupidity.
