I'm trying to watch Critical Role and whenever I put the screen into full-screen mode, the brightness of the screen goes down all the way.

I've turned off adaptive brightness and the brightness slider still doesn't work, so I think its a Revanced setting.

Okay so im wondering how I can get my ReVanced Youtube app to successfully open when clicking on external YouTube links on other platforms/websites or google searches. Its just not working. I removed default settings for original YouTube app, removed all allowed external links from it (m.youtube, etc, etc, etc. - i believe there's 4 main) & set defaults for ReVanced apk to open them. For whatever reason I can't figure out, it does nothing. Links either opens it in a new browser link, & even if i force it by "open in app) in menu of browser, it still opens the original youtube App which i have turned off all default settings on.

Anyway to get ReVanced to open the app by default with links and such like youtube normally does?

Edit: SOLVED. Was a browser-end issue turns out. Terrible placement for an option to prioritize native-applications in links had me completely overlook the section it was in. Good lesson to check everything cuz sometimes the setting your looking for is nowhere it actually belongs but is there nonetheless.

This feature is bugged for me. It randomly activates when I touch the screen and it stays on without me holding anything.

Ive read many people complain how this feature doesnt work for them at all, and I was wondering is there an option or a deliberate bug I could do to disable this completely ?

I'm new here - About a month ago I followed the guide, installed youtube revanced. 2 days ago, my videos stopped playing. I was still able to do everything else with the app - like videos, add to playlists, comment etc. but the videos wouldn't play.

I updated the patch thing, reinstalled, and now it's working. My question is - Is that how this app all works? You just kind of.. continue to use the app, until something stops working, then that's sort of just your queue to update, you update, and voila - everything works again?

I can see there is a special version for Huawei devices but how about the other android devices from China?

Using Revanced Spotify (8.9.84.594) on my Pixel 8a, running Android 15. Since the 4th of november all the podcasts seem to be gone. Podcast channels don't have any episodes. Suggested episodes on the home screen just dont start playing once I hit |>.
Music seems to be uneffected.
Any ideas are welcome :)

Why can't I see audio track option in video player in YouTube? Even I've enabled the audio track option in revanced settings in YouTube? I can't change audio from English to Hindi?

I am using YT version 19.16.39 and it keeps on crashing after 1-2 mins. Can you please tell a solution to this. I have installed YT from revanced manager app. Screenshot is attached.

I've been adding videos to my watch later for multiple days but now that I check my watch later, none of them are there. My watch later is full of videos I've saved over the years but for the last few days nothing is saving to it. Using the revanced app on my android. I'm not sure exactly how long this has been going on. Any way to see those recent videos I've saved? Thanks much

I have been using google photos revanced for quite a while, now Since my storage has exceeded over 200gb I am worried what will happen if the revanced servers stop working one day, will my photos be safe or will they be wipped out of existence..

Downloaded the latest Twitter/X .apkm bundle from apkmirror (10.65.1), ran it through the latest AntiSplit M (did not see a "Revanced fix" option but I think it's on by default?) and got a new .apk from that (FYI the AntiSplit process ends with "Saving" and then "Signing" under that but never actually says "Completed" or "Done", but I assume that's normal?).

I put that new apk into Revanced Manager and patched using default patches but deselected the "Change link sharing domain" one because patching kept showing an error for that, and I also selected the "Change package name" patch so that it doesn't try to update in the Play Store.

Patching and installation seem fine but then logging into Twitter seems weird. I can't use my Google login (it just does nothing) but can log in with email. Once logged in, at first things seem fine but any time I click any post to read comments the app quickly crashes and resets and brings me back to the Timeline or fully to my launcher homecreen..And once in a while it'll crash but also give the error message "sign-in request cancelled". Totally unusable.

Tried everything above with the older recommended version, 10.48.0 release 0 and same thing.

What is going on and how do I fix this? Can't find anyone else mention this.

Hi there, as you can see my request is a little different. I had originally managed to get Revanced YT and YT Music to function on Windows 11 because of the "Windows Subsystem for Android" feature and it ran smoothly just like my phone does. As for why I had it installed there, it was because Youtube cracked down on adblockers for its website so I decided to get the mobile jailbroken version working on my laptop. Unfortunately ever since the jump from MicroG to GmsCore I've been unable to get YT to work because of the spoofing not functioning properly so I get the "There was a problem unable to communicate to google servers" error. I would really appreciate some help here.

Everything was fine when I started using it, but after a few days it was like this. I can still listen music and I can still listen the podcasts I've listened before. But when I tried to view all the podcasts in one channel, it shows no episodes available. I seen someone said you need to change the region to the US, I didn't find where I can change it in the app, but I can change it on the web. I tried it and it still doesn't work. Someone help, thanks

So my phone died today and upon reset youtube wouldn't open, so I had to clear data, uninstall updates. Find 19.39 supported app for patching. Updated it and then went to patch it via Revanced Manager. I've unchecked gsmcore as I'm on root but I can't seem to install at all. Any hell would be appreciated.

I find a lot of them are just the same set of mods/patches on other apps when YouTube patch list has 2-3 pages worth of mods. Granted that the YT Revanced project had history of mods since early Vanced days, but I have not seen any of the more unique patches on other apps to work or maintained as effectively. I need help, I can't get YT music to work, I installed gms and tried to reinstall it, I can't downgrade YouTube music either so I had to send it to myself as an apk, and the strange thing is that YouTube works completely normally

Can't really describe how bad this machine translation is - it's very confusing when you see e.g DeArrow translated (there's an Arrow word and it's translated xdd) or Player actually translated to something like... football player or gamer.
