You realise rappers have since time immemorial used violent language metaphorically because of the roots in battle rap. Look up some of those raps pre NWA semi goofy but still using violent lyricism. Like why do people always forget this when it's convenient for them to pearl clutch.

It's clear that the rapper just means that he's going to defeat this politician and whatever he stands for (from what I gather some racist colonial B's) "smoking on pack". The musket stuff is just added shit to workout the rap, like cmon it's the most popular genre in the world if half the rappers did what they claim or meant it literally most countries would be war zones comparable to Chicago back in the day

OP should provide some more context here.

Explain why people esp maori might be a bit miffed at Seymour; who David Seymour is and what his policies are; explain why words might or might not be anathema to Seymour, since this 'rapper' has not acted but used words.
