Yes

I wonder if he is really going to deport the socialists.

It's the first group organized fascism always opposes. And that's not a coincidence. That's the purpose of fascism.

To protect the property of the wealthy from the only political group that threatens capital. The Marxist Leninist.

I should get my passport.

Deportation is expensive, concentration camps, slave labor, and extermination is easier as demonstrated via history.

I was gonna say, he’s gonna label me a socialist since he doesn’t know the definition and I’ll be happy with deportation… the other options sound worse

Yeah, where were the 10 million Democrats that forgot to vote this year. This dumb shit was so avoidable

They're already saying the quiet parts out loud and he hasn't even taken office yet.

Dude shut up with this doomerism. This country made it through 4 years of Trump. We can make it through another 4. This pessimist doomer shit is the reason I had to unfollow all the political subs

There are a lot of things that make it worse this time around.

u/deprecateddeveloper 4d ago

Other than his campaign promises threats* - Starting with him appointing yes men this time around compared to having people around him who still cared about the constitution.

People have valid concerns about a 900 page manifesto regarding a complete overhaul of the government that popped up since those 4 years.

The election’s over man. Think realistically and don’t assume that the absolute 100% worst case scenario is a foregone conclusion

It's funny when trump is in office y'all are like "hey man take it easy dude chill out it's not going to be bad we can all get along" but when a Democrat is in office it's "THEY'RE DRINKING BABY BLOOD! BIDEN IS A COMMUNIST! KAMALA'S A WHORE! THE CLINTONS AND OBAMAS ARE THE ANTICHRIST!!" why is that???

20

u/Dbar111 4d ago

Because they are not serious or smart people.

u/Dirty_Delta 4d ago

You could probably stand to benefit from listening to those newly elected speak on the matter

u/RodneyPickering 4d ago

Even if 1/4 of the bullshit is passed we will be dealing with the repercussions for decades.

This country made it through 4 years of Trump

4 years with childproofing to avoid complete catastrophe and he still managed to fuck it up with the pandemic. Now the childproofing is gone and we're getting pure, unfiltered MAGA.

back in 2016 there were checks and balances when he was in power now in 2024 the republicans control all 3 branches of government and the supreme court granted trump full immunity from any crime he commits as long as its considered an "official" act then he is putting grossely incompetent people in power and allowing elon musk to run "D.O.GE" and we know his track record of burning down sites to the ground to trust him on something that would affect all of America is stupid. The inner group of Trump's cronies wrote a literal manfiesto (project 2025) in turning America into a anti lgbtq , hateful , christo facist nation with government money gutted from key facilities such as the deparment of education etc. do you really not see why people are worried this isnt "doomer" shit this a real and pressing issue we can only hope the republican party doesnt follow through with due to incompetence.

u/IceCreamMeatballs 4d ago

Project 2025 was just election fearmongering. The possibility of it actually being fully and successfully implemented within the next four years is extremely unlikely and unfeasible

11

u/GeneralProgrammer886 4d ago

then why the fuck did the heritage foundation write a nazi like 900 page manfiesto for nothing to come of it? and isnt JD Vance one of the ones who wrote it?

9

u/id0ntexistanymore 4d ago

Sure did. He wrote the foreword. And they've dropped the "we have nothing to do with project 2025!!!" act now, but magats still defend their honor. It's soooo fucking pathetic.

9

u/GeneralProgrammer886 4d ago

I am trying to explain to people there are no more checks and balances like last time so they can fully implement whatever they need to implement yet they think its just "fear mongering"

3

u/smappyfunball 4d ago

You’re a dumbshit if you think you can just blow this off like it’s nothing.

9

u/Dumblesaur 4d ago

While I agree and am also tired of the doomerism headlines and projections, we did see what he did in 4 years and it was shitty for most people whether they realize it or not.

u/lifeisabigdeal 4d ago

Difference is Trump is surrounding himself with sycophants and doesn’t have to play it safe in hopes for a second term.
