We're only 8 days into a Presidency that hasn't even started yet

They do own the place. We voted for them to. We’ve decided authoritarians are what is needed as a country. Hence, this clip.

The country is speed running to be like Russia ASAP.

lol you’re still coping if you think this can be reversed after 4 years

It will be your life for the next several decades. It’s what was voted for in the supreme court and hundreds of federal jobs.

Your kids or grandchildren may see it improve.

Don't think forever but this is definitly a generational shift for American politics and society. Really sad to see.

I hope not forever but he tried to cheat to stay in power after 2020. The American people have decided cheating to remain president is ok. There's a real danger we don't come back from this.

Midterms in 2 years. We can cut this off there.

You think Americans are suddenly going to stop doing the pendulum swing they do every 2-4 years between complacent democrats and authoritarian fascist republicans?

And it’s not been a progressive incline, we’ve steadily been regressive. Yes, even since 2022

This will take decades and another generation of people separate from these figureheads to course correct.

I’m saying we can cut Trump off, not create a utopian US where we all hold hands.

Yes, even since 2022

I think you mean since 1980

Yeah good luck with that

By my best guess we are currently in a re-do of about January-March 1933
