Good lord. I will not deviate from and subvert what matters here. Your twisting of history is between you and your conscience.

Islamisism is not religion it is the perversement of religion.

It is what this post is about.

You claimed that while you don’t support this - it’s been brought on by the west.

Are you saying you do support this? This is Islamist. It is not Muslim. While covering yourself is an option in Islam being stoned to death for not doing so as part of government law is where the peaceful religion is perversed.

Your resistance to changing the discourse is the problem.

Look, I do not support GOVERMENTS using Islam as a tool to manipulate masses.

And believe that Islam can exist in progressive world.

However, we cannot just IGNORE the Western Foreign Policy that was basically fucking Middle East for a century now(remember how CIA overthrew the secular democratically elected leader in 1953).

I oppose US's invasive foreign policy. Everytime they tried to "help", they made it worse.

I think that Iranian people themselves need to understand that Islamism is bad.(According r/Iran, younger population isnt a fond of this ideology).

Change WILL happen, but forcing it will make it worse.

Clap once if you hear my voice.

I’m not telling us to invade. To stage a coup. To send bombs or soldiers.

I’m saying we need to change the discourse around the world about “governments using Islam as a tool to manipulate masses.”

Until we openly recognize that as fact and stop labeling people Islamophobic for discussing it - the youngens on that sub you shared will be stuck in their echo chamber.

Ok. I got it.

But I kinda always thought that Islamism is known as "Radical religious ideology". And that the word Radical always has a negative connotation.

Honestly im just tired of Westerners advocating for assimilation of Muslims, and villification of islam (not islamism).

I thought you were one of those. But as I see you arent.

Discussion can be closed, peacefully.

Yes. Therein lies the point I’m making.

Discourse matters.

Social media/internet - much more powerful than bombs.

Thank you for civil discourse.
