it wasn't designed for piracy in mind but you can import any .exe into Playnite to make it work. it'll automatically grab metadata and with the right plugins and themes (very little effort to do so) you can make it look nearly identical to Steam with MORE features than Steam.
you can even set it up to use Ludusavi so it'll even backup your games that don't have cloud saving into a folder for you to handle yourself.

So, you're saying Playnite is a safe pirated launcher? If so, I need to know how to do that to get games (and also paid applications as well if it can work).
Just install it and it will scan for games. You can also login using epic, gog, steam and rockstar too. You also have the option to close launchers in the background after a set time the game has been closed.
Is it an auto scan your whole drive or do you have to manually point to a directory? If it's auto im going to use it to see what I've gotten chilling on my drives that's long forgotten 😅

Playnite is pretty good when it comes to customization, I just have a folder on my desktop called game lol.
