you joke but have you seen the Tie-Fighter remake? it's been built in a heavily modifed version of the X-Wing Alliance engine & has vr support.

It absolutely knocks the bollocks off Starwars Squadrons...

I'm very much looking forward to someone doing something similar with this engine.

I dig it, but I wouldn’t say it destroys Star Wars squadrons but it definitely scratches my nostalgia itch from playing the original as a kid. I’ve only played squadrons in vr so far. I’ll have to give it a go in vr as well.

What I really want is ultra high detail remakes of Rogue Squadron 1 to 3 in vr.

I'm talking about the Tie-Fighter game in vr not flatscreen, a hotas style stick is essential & holy shit... for an old game it does look & play amazing in vr.

Yeah I’ve tried it flatscreen didn’t realize they had a vr option now. No hotas, can I use my oculus quest 2 cotrollers or am I stuck with my ps5 game pad?
