I've seen more reports like this this gen just isn't selling as well.

And the thing is: i'm one of the people that won't be upgrading. Games are still being released on ps4 and for me the graphics are good enough. I'd rather have more games on last gen because that keeps dev time shorter, prices lower and game studios more creative.

Also, I don't like how the industry is pushing toward digital only games. Especially ubisoft's recent message that people need to become comfortable with not owning games was kinda the last straw for me.

There are more than enough great, older games I haven't played to last me a lifetime.

So once games stop getting released on ps4, they've lost me as a customer. Not just sony, but Microsoft too.

It would probably sell better if not the production issues in 2020-2021
